Today, the Gospel Music Association announced the nominees for the 44th Annual Dove Awards, and Daniel Semsen is nominated 5 times in 3 different categories for his work as arranger and orchestrator.  The winners will be announced on October 15, 2013 at the Allen Arena in Nashville, TN.  Daniel is nominated in the following categories:

Youth/Children’s Musical of the Year:
Spend Awhile on the Nile (created by Christy Semsen; arranged & orchestrated by Daniel Semsen)
The Secret of Snowflake County (created by Christy Semsen; arranged & orchestrated by Daniel Semsen)
The Star Factor (created by Christy Semsen; arranged & orchestrated by Daniel Semsen)

Choral Collection of the Year:
-Season of Joy (created by Daniel Semsen and Deborah Craig-Claar; arranged and orchestrated by Daniel Semsen)

Musical of the Year:
Christ, The Redeemer (created by Joel Lindsey, Jeff Bumgardner, and Daniel Semsen; arranged and orchestrated by Daniel Semsen)

 

Daniel is honored to be nominated this year–for the first time–and is also very proud of his incredibly talented and creative wife, Christy, with which he shares three of the nominations.
